Broadcom has acquired Symantec's Enterprise business

As many of you will have heard, Broadcom Inc. announced it will acquire the Enterprise Security software division of Symantec; this transaction was formally completed on 4 November, 2019.

What does this mean for your business?

The good news is that Broadcom Inc has publicly announced it intends to increase its investment in (and support for) Symantec's core enterprise security products and is expected to release its new technology roadmap and strategy in the coming months. This means your investments are well protected, and there's no immediate action required on your part. All Symantec enterprise products will continue to be supported until further notice - by Symantec, and for CSO customers, by ourselves.

As to the medium and longer term, we have plenty of time to work together with you, and advise you on the best and considered course of action for your business environment to continue to protect your digital assets and secure your infrastructure.

Symantec Partner of the Year & CRN Fast50 award

When you work with CSO Group, you can be assured you are working with experts who are here for the long term. The group was recently named the Symantec ANZ and Pacific partner of the year for 2019, and in late November, we also placed 4th in the CRN Fast50 awards for 2019, the highest-ranking cyber security specialist among the winners.
